Burnley have announced the signing of Lazio winger Leum Shauna in a deal worth a reported £12m.
The France Under-21 international has only been at Lazio for a season. Scoring two goals and providing one assist in 37 appearances in all competitions.
Burnley have decided to sign Shauna for a fee believed to be in the region of £12m on a four-year deal.
“It is a very proud day to sign for such a special club,” Shauna said.
Pace’s firm Velocity Sports Partners (VSP) are expected to arrive in Barcelona next week to finalise the paperwork. And begin conversations designed to strengthen the side ahead of the upcoming season.
The discussions have taken place at boardroom and ownership level. And have not involved anyone from the club throughout this process.
It’s understood this process has been conducted entirely separate from Burnley and does not impact or take resources away from the club in any way.

He was also part of the France Under-21 squad that competed at the European Championships. Where they reached the semi-finals before losing to Germany.
