Tottenham Hotspur have been investigated by the FA after their fans threw objects at Cole Palmer. And Enzo Fernandez during their London derby against Chelsea on Tuesday night.
Palmer and Fernandez had to take a corner. After objects were thrown at them during a set-piece in the first half. Tottenham officials
intervened to calm the crowd and entered the pitch to collect the objects that had been thrown.
Before the match, Spurs fans in the South Stand were issued with pieces of paper to create a giant tifo which read “audere est facere” – Latin for “to dare is to do”, the club’s motto. Those pieces of paper were then thrown onto the pitch by some fans when Chelsea’s players came to take corners at that end of the ground.
